Flamenco Guitars
Andrew Edwards hand crafted fine flamenco guitars are based on the work of great Spanish luthiers such as; Manuel Ramirez, Marcelo Barbero, Santos Hernandez, Domingo Esteso, Antonio Torres & Manuel Reyes. I have specialised in the making of the flamenco guitar since 2008.
Woodworking hand tools are used with traditional construction methods including hot hide glue and shellac finishes using french polish techniques. This time consuming process requires passion and love, producing exceptional guitars not possible from factory build guitars.
Each instrument is created individually to suit the player's setup preferences (e.g neck profile, string spacing, scale length etc) for great playability and to provide acoustic characteristics that responds to the various dynamics, emotions and touch of the guitarist. The best available materials are used for my guitars and consequently I do not offer various levels or student models.
